About Us

Azerbaijan Alzheimer Association is the first  Alzheimer's organization in Azerbaijan.


Our history

The Azerbaijan Alzheimer’s Association (AAA) was founded in 2021 by Aygun Badalova who is doing her research on Alzheimer’s disease in United Kingdom. While studying she recognized an urgent need for an association in Azerbaijan that would provide support to those facing Alzheimer’s and advance research into the disease.

Today, Azerbaijan Alzheimer Association aims to reach millions of people affected by Alzheimer's and all other dementia. We are based in UK and Azerbaijan ,voluntary association in Alzheimer's care, support and research.

We believe that together, we can end Alzheimer’s.



Our symbol

The brain logo of the Azerbaijan Alzheimer's Association represents who we are and what we do. Having golden brain on our logo represents how we are  powerful and strong.



Our color

Gold is our signature color, which means sensible, punctual and caring. Gold  makes a statement about our Association and our supporters: we are strong and unrelenting in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
